"Brother! You're home! Let's play some xbox! Yeah?!?"
Is what my brother, Max, would usually say when I get back from school. A ten year old boy that wants to be like his older brother. Even though we're just five years apart, he treats me like I'm in my twenties. The youngest brother, Andrew, is four years old, still a toddler. I don't have to worry about him. Need to make sure Max goes the right path. Maybe, that's the reason why I'm living.
Today is Saturday! That means I can now have some peace and quiet from school. Unless my mom makes us do some lame chores around the house.
"Brother! Wanna' come to the mall with my friend and I?" said Max, bursting through my door. "We're going to get a new game, maybe you'll give us some choices on what to buy."
I never liked going to the malls because I would always bump into some annoying people from school. Not only that, but I would also see couples everywhere. Something from the past that I really don't want to bring up because it brings me such yearning.
"Look Max, you know I don't.." then it hit me. If I stay home, mom would totally going to make me do something. Can't let that happen.
"You know what, I'll go with you Max."
"Awesome! I'll go call my friend that we're on our way."
Maybe I could buy myself something nice. Nope, what am I saying. I'm a poor old beggar. I should really start looking for a job.
